Happy Hump Day everyone! It’s another scorcher in Greenville, perfect for skirts and flowy blouses! This is perfect for an afternoon of shopping and perusing downtown (Yeah, you can probably run a marathon in these pumps, SO comfortable!) but combined with a blazer would make for a fresh new take on work appropriate attire.

I was thankful to take a little break to make this blog post today. Now that grad school is basically over, my roommate and I are frantically packing to get every thing moved out of our apartment and on to the next chapter of our lives. I threw on these silk shorts because they’re without a doubt the most comfortable pair of shorts I own. Stripes are a favorite pattern of mine for the summer, and I love how perfectly navy pairs with pink.

I hope everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend. It was a much needed one for me, but now that it’s over, it’s time to start focusing on real life again!

It’s safe to say that I have a thing for gold jewelry. It looks good with just about any outfit so it’s hard to resist! My favorite look recently is to layer dainty jewelry with bigger and bolder pieces, like these Pixie Jewelry and Kendra Scott necklaces. They look great on their own, but even better together!

Also, if y’all are looking for the perfect maxi skirt that you’ll never want to take off,  look no further. This Ann Taylor Loft maxi  is literally the most comfortable thing I own. The material isn’t heavy and would look great paired with a crop top (I’m thinking this one or this one from Asos).

Birthday Wishlist

Good morning readers! My birthday has been off to a great start already (aside from spilling coffee all over the floor during class). I’m lucky enough to visit the coast for a third time this month, so I’ll spend the day celebrating with my brother in Charleston. Can’t complain about that! Tomorrow morning I have a job interview in Mt. Pleasant, so let’s hope that birthday luck carries over an extra day!

Happy Monday! Nothing makes the beginning of a week better than rediscovering a favorite wardrobe piece. I found these pants after doing some serious Spring cleaning in my closet this weekend. I forgot about how much I love them! J.Crew denim is always on point, and these add a little something to regular, white denim pants. They go well with a lot of colors, but I like them the most against a different shade of blue. This breezy Old Navy blouse paired perfectly!

Graduation Celebration

I spent the weekend in Charleston to celebrate Mother’s Day and my big brother’s graduation from Charleston School of Law! We lucked out and had perfect weather. The ceremony was held on the Citadel’s campus, which was a treat for me because I’ve never seen it from the inside. Afterwards I had a little time to snap a few pictures before leaving for dinner. It was the perfect way to wrap up the weekend with family and friends. The rest of our time was spent shopping on King Street, walking Waterfront Park, and eating amazing food. I was so sad to leave Charleston, I could stay forever!

Happy hump day loves! I’ve been coveting this wrap-around skirt/skort look and finally found this one at Target!  I actually prefer that it’s a skort and not a full skirt because it would be pretty short otherwise, it makes sitting down a lot easier! I paired it with heels (these would look great too) but strappy sandals would be my next pick!

Originally I was looking for a pink skort and I’m really loving this one from Topshop via Nordstrom. Zara also has cute ones here and here!

Over the weekend I visited some of my girlfriends in Columbia and fell completely in love with fab’rik boutique. I don’t think there was one piece of clothing in that store I wouldn’t have worn! Not only that, but as soon as we entered the front door, a friendly sales associate asked if we’d like a mimosa or glass of wine. How could I say no to that?! I left with this blouse and can’t get enough of it. I really like the double layering and the way it flows in the wind when I walk.

I couldn’t have been happier when the manager told me that there’s a fab’rik in Greenville, which will definitely be my first stop when I’m back in town. If you aren’t close to any of their locations, you can shop their online store here!
