I’ve searched high and low for the perfect pair of silk shorts and finally found them via The Traveling Chic Boutique in Greenville. The pop of pink was what initially made me pick them up, but they’re also ridiculously comfortable! Perfect for dressing up or casually.
I knew immediately I wanted to pair the shorts with this pair of DV by Dolce Vita wedges via 6pm. I love the gladiator-inspired straps and the heel height is just right. There’s also a similar pair in black!
More of my favorite silk shorts can be seen here, here, and here. How do you feel about silk shorts? Yea or nay?

I had such a relaxing weekend at home with family and friends. It was a much needed mini vacay away from the stress of school work! Easter was the perfect opportunity to wear a few pastel pieces by Old Navy. This printed top and linen scarf (for all scarves go here) are great essentials for Spring. Both are incredibly light and ideal for warm temps.
Old Navy is currently having a 30% sale online and in stores! Today is the last day, so get to shopping here!
I always seem to walk into TJMaxx at the right time… last weekend I snagged this shift dress and I’m in love. The back is great too, unfortunately I couldn’t show it to y’all because I have awful sunburn! It goes perfectly with these Sole Society pumps and a little pop of color from Loren Hope (here and here). Visit your nearest TJMaxx for this dress!
This is a quick post because I’m off to work, I hope everyone enjoys their Easter weekend!
ASOS maxi dress, Page 6 Boutique necklace, 5th and Ashland bangles, Kendra Scott ring, Nasty Gal midi rings, Lilly Pulitzer cross-body, Aldo wedges (old, similar here and here), Essie in ‘Bikini so teeny’
Happy Friday! I’ve always avoided maxi dresses because I’ve never felt comfortable in them. At 5’3″ they’re usually too long and I hate spending extra to get them hemmed. I was really excited when I realized ASOS has a line of clothing specifically for petite sizes. This marbled maxi dress is perfect for South Carolina weather and would make for a cute beach cover up too. I love the way it flows when I walk and the back is such a fun change from the regular halter style. Here are a few other ASOS maxi dresses that I’m loving:
Solid: 1 (petite), 2, 3 Pattern: 1, 2, 3
Francesca’s Blouse (old), Old Navy jeans, Lilly Pulitzer cross-body, Loren Hope bracelets (here and here), Kendra Scott ring, Nasty Gal midi rings, Essie in ‘Bikini so teeny‘
I’ve always loved the look of this top. Not only because it’s peplum, but because I’m really into the pastel geometric print! It’s great with white pants or a solid colored skirt. I’m also really loving these geo print pieces:
Every girl knows that feeling, when you stare at your closet and can’t decide how to dress yourself for the day. That’s what happened to me this morning as I woke up still exhausted from the day before. I looked through the contents of my closet for what seemed like an eternity and couldn’t make a decision. It’s moments like this when I turn to Pinterest for a little inspiration. I found this picture and knew I had to recreate it!

It’s the simplicity of the outfit that gets me. I really love the combo of a simple tee with a denim jacket that makes this look effortless. The delicate jewelry adds a nice touch too! Here’s my take:
Target v-neck tee (similar), JCPenney denim jacket (on sale!), 5th and Ashland necklace, Old Navy white jeans, Banana Republic belt, Tory Burch Reva flats, David Yurman bracelets (here and here), Kate Spade watch
Aaaaand I’m back! After a week full of coursework and job applications, I’m coming at ya with my most coveted items for Spring this year.
Lip Gloss / Floral Dress / Watch / Earrings / Face Oil / Cross-Body / Tech Case / Sandals (on sale!) / Shades / Stackable Ring Set
Obviously I’m really into blues and whites right now. The colors are so clean and perfect for warm temperatures! These goodies are definitely on the top of my shopping list. But I have to know, what are y’all lusting over this season?
