Jewelry: Page 6 Boutique double pearl studs (To order, call 803.548.0559, or similar here) and bracelet (identical) ¦ Kate Spade watch ¦ David Yurman ringcuff and link bracelet

Happy Friday, readers! I’m so glad that it’s finally the weekend. I (sort of) apologize for the excessive amount of plaid I’ve worn lately. Whenever it gets cold, I go directly into plaid/flannel mode. I can’t help it! Especially with this Piko 1988 flannel. They’re known for making some of the comfiest tops for women, and this one is no exception!

I wanted to mention again that the J.Crew skirt that I’m wearing is still on major sale, and comes in four colors! I snatched up two colors during Black Friday last year and wear them constantly. It’s definitely a must have for fall and winter.

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! Cheers!

Holiday Gift Guide II – For The Homebody

We all have that one friend that would much rather stay in on the weekends and watch Netflix than go out. The kind of person that secretly does a little dance when plans are cancelled unexpectedly. You know exactly what I’m talking about! We can all be a bit of a homebody from time to time. That’s why my second gift guide is for exactly that. Honestly, you don’t have to be that kind of person to enjoy these gifts!

Blanket scarf ¦ Pajama set ¦ Pig bookends ¦ Buffalo check throw ¦ Moccasins ¦ Clarisonic ¦ Diptyque candle ¦ Coffee mug ¦ Plaid fringe throw ¦ Bluetooth wireless headphones ¦ Pillows (cable knitgold, leopard, monogram)

I hope everyone has a great day. Hang in there, it’s almost the weekend!

Plaid Is The New Black

Outfit: ‘Plaid Is The New Black’ cardigan c/o Page 6 Boutique (To order, call 803.548.0559) ¦ J.Crew Chambray shirt (50% off!) ¦ Marshalls Jersey midi skirt (similar here and here) ¦ DV Dolce Vita booties ¦ Kate Spade bag ¦ Revlon Just Bitten Lip Balm ‘Honey’

Jewelry: Lisi Lerch earrings ¦ Kate Spade watch ¦ David Yurman ring, cuff and link bracelet

Good morning, readers! One of my most favorite new additions to my fall wardrobe is this ‘Plaid Is The New Black’ cardigan. I’m obsessed with everything plaid this season, and when I saw this in Page 6 Boutique I had to have it. It has some weight to it, which makes it perfect for braving the cold. I wore it over the weekend with jeans and riding boots, and paired it during the week with a comfy midi skirt and booties for a more work-appropriate look.

P.S. Please excuse the excessive amount of squinting in these pictures. Seasonal allergies + a wind chill do NOT mix well during photo sessions.

Bundle Up

Outfit: J.Crew field jacket (30% off with code SHOPNOW) and chambray shirt (50% off!)¦ TJ Maxx striped blouse (similar here and here) ¦ Old Navy jeans ¦ Page 6 Boutique blanket scarf (For more colors, call 803.548.0559) and boot socks (identical) ¦ Hunter rain boots ¦ Revlon matte lipstick ‘Really Red’ and Super Lustrous Lip Gloss ‘Fatal Apple’

Jewelry: Tory Burch earrings ¦ Kendra Scott Skylen ring ¦ Michael Kors watch ¦David Yurman ring, cuff and link bracelet

Finding the opportunity to shoot with Noah and have him actually stay still is a rarity, so I was super happy that these turned out well. Nothing that a few treats won’t solve! Lucky for him, he has lots of fur to protect him from the cold. He’s really in his element this time of year, but I am constantly FREEZING so I really rely on lots of layering. Like I’ve said, adding a few small touches like a blanket scarf and boot socks go a long way when staying warm.

P.S. I am in the process of creating more posts for my holiday gift guide, and would love some feedback from my followers! Are there any in particular that you would like to see? Gifts for men? Tech gifts? For the home? For specific personalities? Let me know what you think!

Holiday Gift Guide I – Stocking Stuffers

I can’t believe it’s already mid-November, and that much closer to Christmas! I am making a conscious effort to shop smart and get it all done ahead of time this year! Whether or not that will happen, I’m not so sure. But gift guides are a great way to start thinking ahead. Whether you’re searching for the perfect gift for your girlfriend, best friend, mother, sister, etc. there’s something here for everyone!

Lokai bracelet (via Page 6 Boutique Fort Mill: Call 803.548.0559) ¦ Fujifilm Instax Camera ¦ Blanket Scarf ¦ Sonix iPhone 6 Case ¦ ‘I’d Rather Be Sleeping’ Mug ¦ Sherpa Booties (on sale!) ¦ Kate Spade Bluetooth Speaker ¦ Marc Jacobs Watch ¦ Kate Spade bag ¦ Page 6 Boutique earrings (Call 803.548.0559) ¦ Moroccan Oil Treatment ¦ Chanel ‘Chance’ Perfume ¦ Patagonia Beanie ¦ Deborah Lippmann nail polish (here and here) ¦ Bobbi Brown Lip & Eye Palette

I think any woman would be pretty pumped to receive these gifts! As a side note, one of my newest obsessions are these Lokai bracelets. Each bracelet contains mud from the Dead Sea and water from Mount Everest. They’re the perfect stocking stuffer, and if you’re the kind of person that loves a brand with an incredible story, check them out! Also, if you’ve never tried Moroccan Oil Treatment before, you have to… like NOW. A friend let me try hers a few weeks ago and my hair hasn’t been the same since I bought some for myself. Totally worth the price and perfect for the beauty buff!

Fall Bright

Outfit: Old Navy cable knit sweater and jeans ¦ H&M coat ¦ Forever 21 heels ¦ Kate Spade bag ¦ Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain ‘Sultry’ ¦ Essie ‘Too Taboo’

Jewelry: Earrings and necklace c/o Page 6 Boutique  ¦ Kendra Scott Skylen ring ¦ David Yurman ring

Okay, so I know it’s November and technically WAY too late into the year to wear white pants… or at least by Southern standards. But I’m hanging onto the last bit of warm weather to wear light outerwear and white! Sometimes when it’s gloomy outside, the best thing to do is wear a colorful outfit – with some sparkly accessories of course – to brighten the day!

ON + L.L. Bean

Outfit: Old Navy poncho ¦ J.Crew top (similar) ¦ Old Navy jeans ¦ Hunter rain boots ¦L.L. Bean boot socks ¦ TJ Maxx clutch ¦ Cole Haan sunglasses ¦Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain ‘Sultry’

Jewelry: Tory Burch earrings ¦ Kendra Scott Rayne necklace and Skylen ring ¦ Kate Spade watch ¦ 5th and Ashland triple pearl ring ¦ David Yurman cuff and link bracelet

I’m constantly layering my outfits during fall and winter because I’m extremely sensitive to the cold. Warm sweaters and thick socks are an absolute must for this girl. I’ve actually had this poncho for about a year and it is still selling at Old Navy. Probably because it’s very comfortable and stylish at the same time, or at least I think so! I’ve also had my L.L. Bean boot socks – in multiple colors – for a number of years and they are still as perfect as the day I bought them. It probably seems odd that I’m making such a fuss over socks… but L.L. Bean’s quality is unbeatable and it really matters when keeping warm!

Sorry for the shortness of this post. I have been busy busy busy this week! Thank you to my readers for being patient!
